COURSE 1 – Personal Impact Skill Course
The programme can be delivered individually or in small groups. This course is designed to give you the necessary skills needed to make an impact in any unfamiliar situation. To increase your ability to understand how you relate to others, how you are perceived and the impact that you make. The course uses the basic models but adapts to a clients particular needs.
Aim
Using video playback we’ll provide you with a comprehensive grounding in key skills vital to the preparation and delivery of an interview, presentation or meeting. Overcome your anxiety and build your confidence, using proven techniques that you can adopt to suit your own style.

Content for day 1
- The purpose and philosophy of the training
- Perception – looking at the impact you make on others.
- Core communication skills – body language, eye contact, facial expressions,
- Voice – projection and articulation
- Video – video play back to highlight specific needs
- Channel nervous energy – manage an uncomfortable situation
- Manage authority – manage fear of someone you believe to be an authority figure
- Review strengths and weaknesses
- Feedback and analysis
- Discover new ways of approaching situations – leave a good impression, get the job, close the deal!
- Exploring personal blocks – understanding how you can achieve a successful action planning
- Role- playing specific scenarios related to an individuals situation.
