A goal is a desired result a person commits to achieve. Being able to set goals well is beneficial in so many ways:

  • Measures progress made – something to compare the growth with
  • Keeps distractions to a minimal – helps us focus
  • Makes ourselves accountable – procrastination is limited
  • Motivates us – have an endpoint to be excited about
