New Beginnings

2017 has been the year of new beginnings, new house, new clients and Sam starting school. I love this time of year, and although I’m swamped in training and development, I make walking through the colourful leaves in Richmond Park a daily priority.   With all the new beginnings this year, I’m reminded of how adaptable we are as human beings and the resilience we all have within. My little boy told me about sitting alone on the friendship bench – ‘a place you go when you have no friends mummy’. He told me that two boys, he didn’t know, came to his rescue and asked him to play. He was fine about it. I, on the other hand, wobbled before rationalising and realising this was all part of the process and learning how to make friends will stand him in good stead for life.

2018

What a year so far. My little boy has gone into year one and has an actual real life school time table now! It seemed like he was in a push chair a few days ago. I’ve reflected a lot on time this yea
